Andermatter Uploader
A private application that uploads the owner's own music videos to the Andermatter YouTube channel through the official YouTube Data API.
Purpose of this application
Andermatter Uploader exists for one task: to publish finished cover-song videos to the owner's own YouTube channel. The owner records and edits the video first; the application sends the file and its metadata to YouTube and returns the link to the published video.
This website is a public description of the application. There is no login, no account area and no sign-up here — every page is readable without authentication.
Who uses it
Only the channel owner. The application is not distributed, has no other users, and is not offered as a service. It is not a public upload service.
What it does, step by step
- The owner authorises the application once with their own Google account (OAuth 2.0).
- The authorisation refresh token is stored on the owner's private server.
- Each upload starts with an explicit command from the owner.
- The video, title, description, tags and thumbnail are sent to
youtube.googleapis.com. - YouTube returns the video ID; the owner receives the link.
YouTube API Services
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the owner agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
The application does not use Google APIs to generate AI content, does not create or process AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery, and does not use API data to train machine-learning models.
Data
The application stores only what is needed to upload videos: Google OAuth credentials, the refresh token, queued video files and their metadata. Full details, retention periods and deletion instructions are in the Privacy Policy.
